Hellen Felter, Born in Suriname, Dutch nationality, living for more than 40 years in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.Education:
Doctoral degree Social and Cultural Science. Specialised in National Policy, Culture, Race and Gender issues; Teachers Degree, HBO-Social work degree, Higher Management, Telematics Training, Intersectionality Training and more.
Work:
Professional Trainer / Youth and student Counsellor / Anti-racism trainer / Supervisor / Researcher (1969-till now)

(Australia, China, Europe, USA, Africa); Delegate for the Netherlands to the European Women’s Lobby (EWL) in Brussel; Vice –President of the EWL; representative and facilitator of the EWL in the Steering Committee of the World Conference Against Racism, Xenophobia and other Related Intolerence (WCAR) in Durban in 2002; Coordinator for EU NGO’s of the European Region during the WCAR, Representative of the global “International Cross Cultural Black Women’s Studies Institute”; Representing black women in Europe for the World Council of Churches in Madagaskar, Zimbabwe, Brasil and other places in the world.
